While driving through Acadia National Park I came across this beautiful field. I didn't think much about it at first but I knew the sun would be going down and it had potential, soon it payed off. The simple lines of the moutains cast in shadow, changing trees kissed by the sun, the bright forground of dying grasses, and of course the quick moving fog, made for a fantastic image. You can almost feel the crisp fall air. This is the same field as "The Black Tree" image, I'm so glad I stopped at this location.
