Acadia National Park might be small, but it is mighty! I was hoping for a clear day when I visited but as I approached the marine layer got thicker and thicker. I have never been so happy to be dissapointed! The thick fog swept scross the landscape creating the most beautiful light. As I drove past this field I didn't think much about it, but I stopped anyway. As I followed along a small stream the field opened up to this beautiful view. A single black tree stood out against the backdrop of changing leaves. The setting sun lit the fog in the most perfect way, and I couldnt have asked for more.
