Sands Beach is a beautiful little spot nestled between jagged rocks and tall pine trees. It was easy to walk down to the beach and get a few shots. Watching the force of the ocean crash against the rocks, spraying the shore with the cold north east water was captivating. I allowed the shutter to stay open to provide these long lines of water creating movement against the sand. I decided it would make a perfect black and white image before even seeing the final result. It is truly amazing how many different landscapes Acadia National Park has!
